WINNIPEG, MB., December 9, 2016 – The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today are pleased to announce the club has agreed to three-year contract extensions for both General Manager Kyle Walters and Head Coach Mike O’Shea. Walters, entering his fourth season overseeing the club’s football operations, is with the club through 2020, while Coach O’Shea’s agreement keeps him on the sidelines through 2019.
Good stuff. I guess that squashes rumours of Osh going back to Toranna.
Wow, great news for Bomber fans! Hopefully the days of the revolving door of GM's and coaches will be over and the team will have some stability. Now they need to employ that strategy with their QB's.
......Bombers looking for continuity AND there are a lot of Bomber current players tweeting that are ecstatic about the news....Most of them luv their O'Shea and Walters has done a pretty good job....now let's see if it results in a Cup.
Great signing , really like O'Shea's style .
Organization stability going forward? What a novel concept around these parts.......
The homegrown, all-Canadian approach to the Canadian Football League (Miller, Walters, MOS) continues. For some some funny reason....feel pretty good about that...
Good signing for the BB.
Meanwhile the silence remains deafening here, you can hear the crickets.
I like this alot.To me,O shea has improved alot.Walters free agency and trades have been exemplary.Good job Wade!
