Whenever opposing teams came onto the field at Ivor Wynne, there was always a theme that team had played when they took the field.

So we now have the RedBlacks back in the league....so how should we introduce them to the first game.

The obvious choice seems to the the Monty Python Lumberjack song - Monty Python- Lumberjack Song FULL - YouTube anyone else's thoughts?

Also, does anyone know the other team's "Entrance" songs.

Here's a few gems I found to round out the rest of the league,not official of course but I think they might work.I agree 100% on the RB's and Monty Python and I couldn't resist the I'm on a boat ditty for the B.B's even though it happened 6 years ago,it's something I think we can all agree on when we think of Winnipeg and the Bombers and sticking it to them :lol: :smiley:

They've been using "One Great City" by the Weakerthans to introduce the Blue Bombers the last few years (which includes the lyrics "I hate Winnipeg").

Which is okay as long as you ignore that it's really a song about how much John K. Samson loves Winnipeg.

When we are in BC they regularly use What's New Pussy Cat for our entrance.

It wouldn't work,unless you could find a bilingual version of the song,and I don't recall Stompin ever singing in French :roll: :wink:
