One man calvalry

This fellow could very well shore up our Dline, Oline, FB/TE positions with little resistance.
Who could take him down? :stuck_out_tongue:

[b]John "House" Taylor, who currently plays on the defensive line for the Central Penn Piranha in Enola, PA, could be the largest football player to ever play the game.

“You’re not going to straight up move me,? the 6-foot-11, 500 pound Minor League Football player told CBS 21 in Harrisburg, PA. “Don’t run my way. That’s what I do.?

The Piranha went undefeated in the MLF this season and captured the No. 1 seed heading into this season's playoffs in September.

6'11" 500LBS. WOW. That's a big dude. But as the article says, his size and lack of mobility are issues. I'm sure those issues would only be more obvious on the larger Canadian field. But at this point, I'm open to trying anything to fix up the middle of our defense.

He would not require much in the way of mobility......who could take him down or move him out of the way?

scary thought indeed.

If all it took to play lineman was sheer size, teams would be slotting in sumo wrestlers to fill those interior spots. There's a reason this guy plays in the 'Minor Football League.' On a wide Canadian field with athletic linemen and the defense has to line up a yard off the ball, I doubt he'd be much help.

Also, 500 lbs.? Very unhealthy to be carrying that much weight.

I know...was just being facetious D&P :stuck_out_tongue:

BTW, here's a CNN video of the behemoth:

We have 300 pound "O" lineman that have trouble getting out of their 3 point stance before the "D" linemen run around the. I just can't imagine a 500 pound "D" lineman!
