O'Leary: Rookie camps get the 2024 season rolling

Around a year ago at this time, Qwan’tez Stiggers was first setting foot on the field at the University of Guelph for the Toronto Argonauts’ rookie camp. Just 21 then, the defensive back came to Canada with no prior college experience and had only played in the Fan Controlled Football League.

Considering there are still over 50 players on the official FA list, most of whom I gather won’t be picked up, I expect a lot of change. Add to that the # of veterans who retired, the influx of players from the spring league that has shrunk to 8 squads, a VG draft class & there is a lot of talent available to challenge for spots.
