TORONTO — Old Dutch Foods Ltd. (ODF) is proud to be named the Official Crunch of the Canadian Football League (CFL) for the 2023 season, postseason, and the 110th Grey Cup at Tim Horton’s Field in Hamilton. These two long-standing Canadian brands are coming together to engage football fans across the country all season long.
I'm hoping they sponsor a hit (crunch) of the game and a weekly top 5 (or 10) to go along with the plays of the week (which never seem to be big tackles).
Even though Old Dutch is a Winnipeg company and one of my buddies is a manager for them, I still prefer Ruffles. Old Dutch is still pretty good and they are way better than Lay’s as you point out.
I can’t remember Ricky Ray shilling for Lay’s but I could easily have forgotten. I remember his nickname that I still use, Ricky Ray Frito Lay. I thought he used to work for Frito Lay before he became a professional football player. Maybe someone else remembers better than me.
