Yes i agree 100% and according to today's Winnipeg sun column Berry was very dissapointed in Quin and basically stated that his career in Winnipeg is over (he didn't flat out say that, but if you read the column you can tell). Berry also quoted "we need to find a backup to Kevin"
And to answer everyone's question about the QUINN PASS when we were in field gola range Berry stated in this column that Quinn had the option of going DEEP LEFT (where he threw into double coverage and was picked off) or SHORT RIGHT (where there was an open reciever that coulda made positive yards), Berry was infuriated that Quiinn threw that ball and that is why he was benched.
Thank you for clearing that up, what a time to bench a guy, a mental note by Berry could have been made, that Quinn will never play another down in blue n Gold after this game. Plus there is an outside chance, of Quin striking gold. I don't know why there not grooming Banks for the #2 spot, he has more to offer in upside, plus he is a threat to take off...thank the lord Glenn n Milt are back...
We still need a competent back up. Berry is not going to change the offense to suit the player, so Banks is pretty much out even though he has as much ability as a Rocky Butler type qb. Looks like Dinwiddie is the man, at least he has a strong arm unlike Michna and Quinn lets hope he is smarter too.
Banks has been around the Bomber camp all year, should of been practicing all week leading up to the TO game, with the bombers first team offense, after the performance against the Ticats, it's quite clear Quinn is a dud... Dinwiddie is new to the CFL and needs to watch for a while, I hope he's a keeper, cause Glenns knee is questionable for the remainder of the season.
hope we get Printers, and if TO gets him, I hope he brusts over there.
