Well after this shuffle, Montreal might be the team with the most cash on hand heading into 2025 add bank of picks and a solid roster

I think they’re trying to spend money but players are looking at them and saying, no thanks. Dickenson is past his best-before date. I have a feeling that until he gets fired and a full reset is begun, nothing much is going to change in Calgary.

Possible, I guess Calgary isn’t at the top of anyone’s preferred destinations. Kinda like Edmonton under Jones’s tenure. But Vernon’s message about scared money did make it sound like the team wasn’t offering enough.

They reportedly offered more for Geno than Ottawa but they were doing one-year contracts. Calgary is like us a few years back where no one wants to come because the organization is a mess.

They attracted talent only when they were winning and players were getting those playoff bonuses. Now the dynasty is in ruins and players are shunning both Dickenson and the cold breakfasts. lol
He should have been fired last year, but it will take Calgary a year or two more to realize that.

DL Philippe-Lemieux Cardinal finished the season on the practice roster. LB Jean-Gabriel Poulin was with us for 2 seasons. And DB Daniel Valente was also briefly with us.

No, I think it’s because they (rightly) don’t trust Streveler to be able to take over if Zach gets injured. Streveler is a great QB2 as long as your QB1 is healthy and productive.

From the outside they are spending way too much money on their QB position, this prevents them from keeping players like Lawler around.
