Another unfortunate side effect of Covid is that players like Speedy B are losing the opportunity to pad their career stats. He could end up a few hundred yards short of some All-time team record because of the time lost during the pandemic. Also worth mentioning that they can't compete for the Cup and are having some of their prime playing years wasted. Sad for both the players and fans.

I think the elephant in the room might be the Chiefs extending Patrick Mahomes for 10 years and $503 million . One great player will make more than the financial aid that the CFL is hoping to receive from all 3 levels of government . What'ya gunna do ?
