The answer is simple. He is not automatic like Medlock, Parades, or McCallum. I think most of us now hold our breath and let off a collective sigh of relief when Congi gets the 3 points. Especially for any distance greater than 35 yards. I like Luca and he is a local guy but I think Austin will keep him on a short leash.

I didn't realize I missed that, in all the seasons this guy has played only twice was he below 80% this year and in 07 so to say you get nervous are you serious, you know ask Austin for a tryout maybe you'll get the job

Sandro DeAngelis was one of the most accurate kickers in recent history when he played with the Stamps but when he came to Hamilton he lost the mojo. He has never been able to regain it either. Sometimes that happens with kickers.
We all expect kickers to be perfect.
Congi has been a reliable kicker throughout his career.
He did have one kickoff Sunday that led to a very short field.
PK he is fine 42 yards and in. Kickoffs not so much. I hope in the cold tundra of Sask that this does not come back to haunt us...
Congi has done his job in the playoffs, for the most part. Like the rest of the team. We've seen two great team wins.
