Time for the slate of games for the second last week. Only one more Thursday night game but I won’t put it into play as Dallas will likely easily beat Tennessee without Tannehill and the usual time constraints for a Thursday game. Unfortunately no more Saturday games and only one more Monday nighter, which will be in play.
Please note that a regular season winner will be declared in two weeks after which we will have a playoff pool with all games in play. Everyone will start over for that pool so if you think you are out of the regular season pool, you will have another chance in the playoff pool. These are my last picks with Mahal to bring us home next week.
Ripe for the picking are:
Sunday, January 1st-
Miami at New England Noon Carolina at Tampa Bay Noon NY Jets at Seattle 3:05 Minnesota at Green Bay 3:25 Pittsburgh at Baltimore 7:20
I was not going to do it and just abstain, for I hate both these teams and they both fail me and I am not in the running, so screw it and screw those teams too. BAH!
Tampa Bay
No way the fix is not in for that Major Tom via David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust and later Tim Tebow fame (see linked video, enjoy). Screw Major Tom Brady too though. BAH!
Seattle
Because the Jets are the best at screwing it up right now. Plus Streveler might play and he's good, but we don't want him to be THAT good you know what I am saying?
Green Bay
The Vikings are likely to poop the bed anyway, plus the fix is in for that self-enlightened Quarterback Funghi Assclown too. BAH!
Baltimore
The NFL wants Lamar Jackson to shine before the playoffs. He will too. I might watch for a bit, but it's likely to be another ugly edition of most matchups in that AFC North division.
Buffalo
This looks to me like the best game of the week and the playoff game before the playoffs. Both teams are still playing for that #1 seed! And both would love for the Chiefs to lose on Sunday, but with the visiting Broncos that is not happening so both will have to play even harder.
White is starting for the Jets so unfortunately Streveler will likely only play if he gets hurt or in garbage time. I would love to see him get the start to see what he can do in a full meaningful game.
that’s such bullshit, Strevvy should be starting. it’s because it’s not a home game so they don’t have to worry about the home crowd booing White every play.
Aside from the above stated "rouge" scoring play, they could also put targets at various places in the end zone. Cody Fajardo didn't get any points for hitting the crossbar but in this new game we could make it worth at least 2.
