I’m waiting a few days on one of my two picks.

Good luck to all contenders for the auspicious title and a chance to either enter the CFL Forum Circle of Champions or to add another trophy (you braggers, you).

As for the rest of you :face_with_raised_eyebrow: in the contest, like in the regular season contest where I came up short, I’m already going after any of YOU cagey scoundrels and meddlin’ kids ahead of me or tied with me in the standings to fight it out for perhaps FIFTH PLACE!

Also, for anyone who is wondering, Mimosa is doing well. No surgery needed because he didn’t have a foreign object stuck in his bowel, he had a lot of poop stuck in there and it was getting impacted.

He had a procedure this morning and is doing well, however looking rather silly with his shaved tummy.

We are on our way home now and looking forward to football next week :sunglasses:

I will publish the list of winners for the forum pools for the last two years after this one is over. The end of this pool will mark at least two complete years of pools that I have been involved in to some extent so it’s as good a time as any to list the elite Circle of Champions referred to by Paolo above. Like SNL, the race is on to become the first member of the uber elite 5 Timers Club. There are at least 3 of us with multiple wins.

The pools are NFL regular season, NFL playoffs, CFL regular season, CFL playoffs, NHL playoffs and the Masters. The Masters will be the next pool up in early April and after the Super Bowl we will enter what passes for the pool off season.

Baltimore vs Detroit for the Super Bowl

Thanks

Too early for that and it’s pointless picking the two teams left that won’t be playing in it.

Oh my bad

I meant Baltimore over Kansas City

Detroit over San Francisco

Hopefully that clears it up unless I am out of running for the Kreskin Cup.

Oh well better luck next year.

At 5 - 5 I’m completely out of it but that won’t stop me from picking the underdogs to win this weekend. WOOF! :beaver:

Your “cheeseboy” strategy last weekend and generally cheesy approach certainly is unreliable, but it has provided high odds in favour of the more important entertainment value that many care about MORE around these parts.

As in our successful mission to kidnap and return Streveler at last, keep up the good work.

The legendary Mike LaFontaine, my esteemed mentor from those days with High Class Management, would be proud of you too.
