Impressive game going on in Frankfurt at the moment. Miami down 21-0 at the half but now down 21-14 at the two minute warning and have a first down at mid field.
Unfortunately a great game ends on a Tua fumbled snap on 4th and 10 in KC territory. 21-14. KC moves to 7-2 and Miami drops to 6-3. At least Miami showed up against a good team this time. I’m thinking that today might be a preview of the Conference Final.
Bear Down Chicago Bears!!!
The trade for Montez Sweat got some criticism for giving up a 2nd round pick for a guy who would be a free agent at season’s end. In a shocking move by the McCaskey’s, they signed him for 4 years. Hopefully, this pays dividends against the Saints this afternoon.
They usually squander their picks anyway so I’ll take this trade!
Considering the amount of cap space they have and that we have Carolina’s #1 pick, I’m hoping they can actually do a rebuild…
I suspect Eberflus won’t be part of it , however…
New Rule: If any “NFL in Toronto” fans were watching this game they must now realize that their city has miles to go before they will ever get a sniff of seeing an NFL franchise.
Frankfurt was super impressive. A beautiful NFL caliber packed stadium. The crowd couldn’t have been more into it. They were loudly singing John Denver’s Country Roads halfway through the 4th quarter and Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline well after the game ended. They even did the irritating tomahawk chop chant.
The fans were educated, plentiful, loud, energetic and appreciative. A true football town and everything Toronto isn’t. I was amazed. The NFL hit this one out of the park. Look for Frankfurt to be one of the next expansion franchises.
I haven’t been watching any other game as I only get two of the early games this week, but there is a barnburner going on in Foxboro with Washington having gone up early, fallen behind and then taken a 20-17 4th quarter lead. NE first down on their own 9 after a face mask penalty against them on the punt return with 7 minutes left. This is a pool game.
And Washington pulls out the V

I’m doing pretty poorly this week and I have to rely on my underdog Dallas homer pick. Success in the pool is fleeting I am afraid.
I was all good but for those Seahawks, who decided to play like Seagulls:
they simply fluttered about noisily out there on offense and then pooped regularly in evenly spaced drops all over the field as they fluttered about for only the meagre scraps of a field goal.
Bench Geno! Damn you too Pete Carroll!
I told people they were for real. Not enough believed me, but okay then!
Also Mac Jones of those Patriots.
Wow did I get fooled! I saw the Bucs scored a touchdown to go ahead by four points very late with 46 seconds left against those Texans and simply turned it off. But the Texans came back to win!?
But this is AWESOME news too because SCREW YOU BAKER MAYFIELD!
I was a little surprised that Washington played so well only days after losing their two best defensive players. But you are right about Matt Jones. Not ready for prime time and probably never will be. NE was in the game late in spite of him and then he threw a game losing IT with plenty of time left and nearing FG range which would have at least tied the game. His days in NE and probably as an NFL starter are limited I think.
How bad can a team play?
Remember this name folks - Clayton Tune of the Arizona Cardinals!
Observe if you will here Exhibit D, as in football diarrhoea via these atrocious pro football stats. Meanwhile, certain quarterbacks are on practice rosters of other teams:
Wow. Serious game on all the more now here in sunny and beautiful Philadelphia.
Both offenses have come out firing, and it’s only the first quarter.
If I could, I’d personally barge into the stadium now and go yank that safety Reed Blankenship out of the game myself.
Enough already you are too soft and too slow to start in this town!
Been missing the games. Doing some artwork in my basement
Yes.
You know this reminds me, I don’t know when or remember those days I have seen in these old shows when police in unmarked cars put the single siren on top and then hit the gas for full speed on some chase to launch their car high in the air at the crest of any ascending city streets, but I’m going to say I miss those days too.
