Good afternoon or good morning everybody!
IT’S …TIME!
The first Sunday is the real opening day for the NFL.
Now we all have schedules, and well, mine on late summer or autumn weekends is to use the weather to my advantage rather than watching the earlier games, or just background noise.
The evening Sunday NFL window is my favourite, so that’s usually when I am going to be around unless the Eagles are playing in that time slot.
The Sunday night game - not so much. I don’t know about you all, but I’ve had enough of sports by 1900 on Sunday nights,
but there are two great match-ups on Sunday night and Monday night here in opening week as well so have at it.
Extended Highlights Tip USA and Perhaps Beyond
The highlights on Sunday nights via NBC SUCK. They were so much better back in the day on NFL Primetime - anybody remember?
In the US or otherwise for those with access to Pluto TV,
beyond YouTube extended highlights for games now posted quickly by the NFL instead of via the NFL website,
there are also solid highlights available via the NFL’s own channel via free Pluto TV as well as via its CBS Sports channel Sunday into Monday,
so have at it like this as opposed to having to look everything up yourself for all the games you could not watch.
Viqueens manhandling the Giants so far and Jax up 14-0 on Miami, putting me in line for an 0-4 start. Those are the games on cable in my area and coincidentally are the games for the pool as well.
Agreed that the game of the day is next with Dallas at Cleveland and the muzzled Brady on colour. Not a fan of his and don’t think he’ll be particularly good. He has a large hill to climb to even reach Romo’s level much less the GOAT Aikman.
For sure in the early bracket…I’m a life long Seahawks fan so I’ll watch that game end to end, but for the eastern teams that I don’t follow closely this is very entertaining…
