the returner just pushed that gunner over so he couldn’t down the ball at the 1 yard line and instead it went for a touchback.
Is that not considered some sort of interference?

If he has no opportunity to catch the punt he’s just a blocker. The gunner should have hit him hard

Smart of the Texans to run the “silent outdoor gas” play to let the clock run down to 2 minutes.
The Texans don’t want to leave any time for the Chiefs to get the ball back, but of course they’ll happily take a quicker touchdown if they can manage the big play.
