KC and Houston starts in about 75 minutes. Both of today’s games not expected to be close. We’ll see.
My guess is that at least one of them will be somewhat closer than expected
It will be the Houston / KC matchup . In fact I’m looking at a spread of -8.5 for KC and a Houston cover if not an outright win in this game today . The other game between Det / Wash I expect will be a blowout for the Lions with an easy cover -8.5 pts on the spread .
would love to see Houston win.
Would really like to see Baltimore win also.
At least we have the top duo of Buck/Aikman for this one.
Game temp is 22 (-5.5) and feels like 8 (-13.3) in indecipherable Fahrenheit. From an aerial shot no snow to be seen anywhere.
Random observations:
Quickest anthem ever. Maybe too cold for the singer?
The 4 helicopters floating over the stadium not nearly as cool as the Jets that fly over the stadium at Bomber games.
Just tuned in to watch Houston get that third down stop. Heard they had a bit return that got them there but why did that Houston player shove his special teams coach?
Houston lucky to be then only 3-0 after a 60 yard plus kickoff return and a penalty by #17 (Chris Boyd) for throwing his helmet. After that he shoved his special teams coach. So much for coming out calm and not being flustered early.
Because he’s in over his head? Have a seat.
Beautiful pass by Stroud on that play action. Wow
Youch. Strouds ankle got caught there. Hope he’s ok. Dont want to see a blowout.
Might slow him down for the rest of the game
Yup, way easier to pull and stretch stuff when its cold.
…and they are looking at his hand now…
QB Stroud hand injury???
I also see the coach getting pushed on the side line on the Opening kickoff a huge WTF to overcome
Wow! soft call on the RTP
Was that really helmet to helmet?! Refs gotta try to help the cheifs here lol
So it sounds like the Texans’ defense can already stuff any run by the Chiefs, so Mahomes will have to sling it with his magic.
But what can Stroud really do now? It sounds like he’s just going to play hurt.
It’s time for the Texans’ offense to either shine, like against the Chargers, or bust, like against the Ravens.
For a moment like thissss, some people wait a lifetime …
