Next week's schedule should be very exciting. The games get rolling with Calgary meeting Toronto on Friday. I cannot see Calgary losing this game but you just never know.
Winnipeg plays Edmonton [in Edmonton] on Saturday. The Bombers desperately want this game as they're in a dead heat with Montreal for 1st place. The Esks mustered up only 17 points against the lowly Rough Riders this past weekend. I think the Bombers will take it to the Esks which is good for B.C.
On Sunday the Lions continue their unbelievable roll when they play Saskatchewan. They are going for 8 straight victories! I hope Solomon will be back and hopefully Lulay stays healthy. Like all of the other games, this is a must win if the Lions want to stay in 1st place contention especially since Calgary is playing Toronto.
I don’t feel Solomon will be ready this week, thus there are options for the Lions: Canadian James Yurichuk will be ready if needed/and or alternate with import Adam Bighill; however Elimimians roster spot could be contested in practice between Joe Henderson and Amara Kamara.
I wouldn't rush him back. Depends really on how bad it is. If we can save him for the playoffs we should as we have clinched a spot now we can take certain luxuries and should if we can.
I really hope we can push it to 9 games for the next home game.
The Lions can’t afford to rest Solomon for the playoffs. Yes, they are in the playoffs but where the finish could mean home field advantage. It could even mean a bye into the Western Final at B.C. Place. I say, as soon as Solomon is read get back onto the field.
