New Years Resolutions

Happy New Year to one and all.

Who are making New Year Resolutions ?

Mine is that, in 2013, I plan to be exactly the same as I was in 2012.

I make that resolution every year. . . stick to it as well.

The last time I made a New Year's resolution was about thirty years ago, and I have stuck with it ever since. I resolved never to make another New Year's reolution.

There’s always a wise guy in every crowd. Happy New Year to you CFO and everyone else.

Let’s hope we have a great economic year and that the CFL gives us another season of great entertainment!

I resolve to not watch NHL hockey until Hamilton gets a team, and to show more support for the Bulldogs.

Yup  , thanks (and back at ya), and definitely yes, please, to both.

Renew my Ticats Season Tickets, the early bird deadline is January 16th. A shameless plug

WOW! I did the same thing Cats, but it was more than 30 yrs ago. Happy New year to all !

  1. My New Year's resolution was to go to Asia for Xmas.
Am currently in Shanghai and found NHL hockey jerseys for sale dirt cheap in some mall market but no CFL jerseys here.
Saw a CBA (Chinese Basketball Association game) with ex NBA player Stephan Marbury scoring 40 points to lead Beijiing over Shanghai Sharks. Cheerleaders were North American style but the cheers from the crowd were funny.
  2. CFL should expand to Asia. Fans would love it here. Was on a plane with many drunken Russians who would pay to watch any sport.
  3. Thought I say Tim Tebow in a Park in Shanghai in the early morning practising his patented T-Bow pose but as I got closer saw it was some Chinese man practising Tai-Chi. Has TeeBow signed yet with Winnipeg??
  4. Was in the French Concession (an area of Shanghai where there was European influence in the4 1920-30's as reflected in the buildings and street bistros etc. and swear I saw George Cortez sweeping the streets with an old style (chimney sweep style) broom!!
  5. Stopped for coffee at a Starbucks (yes there are starbucks.mcdonalds, KFC, 7-elevens in Communist China) and swore I saw Adrianno Belli arguing with a Chinese employee about the size of his coffee!
  6. The Biebs trails the Korean in popularity here.
  7. And, of course, on the riverfront walkway called the BUND I saw a Rider jersey.

Happy New Year from Asia
