Well here’s some more insight at CBS now that this news has hit today of major layoffs after a massive $6B writedown at Paramount Global, which also has been foreseen for weeks as part of the process of acquisition by Skydance.
Now I’m thinking there will indeed be changes to how the deal with the CFL is carried out in 2025. Will it be more or fewer games on CFL+ in the US instead of being relegated to only CBS Sports Network?
The picture has been great, the commercials need more improvement but are better, and of course best of all it is FREE.
But shoot, put the CFL on Paramount+ and as cheap as it is, I’d like that more for quality of production.
