The locker room facilities certainly look much better from before, at least from what I saw on the outside. What Calgary really needs now is a new stadium though. BC Place is getting a big reno, same up in the Chuck. Even Regina keeps talking of some kind of dome. Wpg has shovels in the ground, Hamilton will too if they get their act together. McMahon is getting long in the tooth at 50 years old. You can only keep slapping on new coats of paint for so long!!
i think the stadium has a little bit of life left in it. the cheap seats being just aluminum benches kinda sux. maybe replace those with actual seats maybe. its all thats left on game day. probably why they dont always fill those sections. the rider fans dont mind sitting there. most likely since those seats are better then the prime seats in regina. i wonder if the new locker room is a reason they are doing so well and why players like mace and carrol want to play in Calgary. honestly... its the CFL where wages arnt high... so you look for other benifits. i mean comapre this stadium to the hamilton pile of poop, or crap stadiums in regina and winnipeg. anyone know how good the argos dressing room is? i would think it would be nice being such a new(er) stadium. where would calgary put a new stadium? i was thinking when the flames build a new stadium, tear down the saddle dome, put a football stadium there. way better for tailgating... more parking....
