TORONTO – The Toronto Argonauts have signed American quarterback Bryan Scott.
Scott, 27, played three games for the Philadelphia Stars of the USFL in 2022 after being drafted third overall, completing 70.6 per cent of his passes for 558 yards and five touchdowns.
Good signing. Interesting because he left the XFL because he didn't want to be a backup QB. He could have started in the USFL. I have to think that Toronto opened up their wallets for him (comparatively speaking).
I think CFL should initiate promoting grooming new QBs from colleges to CFL level. It will elevate the CFL to next level.
