This is the replacement for Albert Toeania, released last week. Hamilton, Ontario- The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has added import offensive lineman Matt Spanos to their practice roster. Spanos, a 6-5, 305-pound native of Corona, California played every position on the offensive line during his collegiate career at USC. He has spent time with the NFL's Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers.
I thought you were talking about a new OverTime format...
If he can start at USC he is a player.
Interesting, but with Goodspeed already here there does not seem to be an opening for him.
That’s the truth …
after watching Goodspeed play the last few weeks, I wouldn’t mind seeing him sit. He looked horrible in the last 2 home games.
Its nothing but a depth move and the same with our D line nice to have come this time of the year and for next years training camp .
LOL… me too
LOL I wonder if he is related to Jessie Spano?
Maybe he’ll take over when Goodspeed leaves of retires?
I see Spanos as a similar kind of player as one that we miss a lot - Travis Claridge. Both started A LOT at USC (and I hated him for what he did to Notre Dame's D-line), both played in the NFL and both were/are very physical and athletic players for O-linemen...let's hope lightning strikes twice and he can pick up for when Goodspeed packs it in...
