Hi, This may sound strange but I was born and raised in Red Deer AB, halfway between Calgary and Edmonton, and have been a huge Tabbie fan since I was about 13. I remember Jimmy Edwards winning the Schenley Award in 77. I just looked it up and hadn't realized he won it in 76 as well. Can someone varify that for me? I also heard on a recent broadcast that he passed away. Does anybody know anything about this? I think the boys will win friday. There starting to gel now, they just have to cut back on little mistakes, and quit taking stupid penalties.
"Calling mightypope!"
"Calling mightypope!"
"Calling mightypope!"
ya, hey.... where's his holiness been lately anyway?
I thought he only won it the one year and was runner up the other.
You are correct Jimmy Edwards passed away. The Spectator had an article about it and how he recently was reunited with his daughter.
