The more I try to use the new site the more disapppointed I am.
If the old site designer was fired or quit, please go back to him/her and offer them anything to return. If there was no change in personell: It may be time for a pee test. 
with all the information that you've provided , I can't understand why these problems haven't been fixed already.
Perhaps being more vage will help me and others understand your problems. 
Isn't this site pretty much the same just with way more online content. Yeah, who would ever want more content???
