Do you like the college playoffs the way they are now?

If I were to change anything, I’d have a 8 week regular season, divisions based on geography. Then top 64 have a six week playoff, losers get consolation rounds so everyone has a 14 game total. Bottom half gets a similar tournament. National Championship Bowl game on New Year’s Day. Home teams in the playoffs have to split the revenue generated with the visiting team.

The bowl season is a money maker for the NCAA . It's not going to change . The TV networks love it . 43 games from Dec 19 to Jan 9 is a tsunami of money for all but the players .

I’m aware that it’s not going to change but I’m just wondering if it appeals to you.

In general, I like it. It makes for a ton of excitement during the regular season. If they did expand beyond the current 4 teams I’d stop at 6-12 max. The 64th best team would be down 40 at halftime to the top seed and that’s not fun for anyone involved.

What is fun… I’m sitting 12 rows up from the Ole Miss bench, right on the 50 yard line (no seats available on the 55 for this one) at the Texas Bowl December 28th. Ole Miss plays Texas Tech. No horse in the race, just hoping for a fun time and a good game.

I wasn't thinking of a 1 vs 64 matchup. I was thinking if you had 7 or 8 teams in a division then you would cross with the closest division next to you. Cut down on travel time. During the regular season, teams get pummeled anyways so I wasn't too worried about a small California school getting beaten badly by Washington Huskies for example.

Thanks for getting on board my crazy train

Actually you have 2 horses in the race . |98|Jaden Dicks|DE|6-4|270|Fr|Etobicoke, ON|

|95|Tavius Robinson|DE|6-6|265|Sr|Guelph, ON| Both are with Ole Miss .

The later bowls like the East West Shrine Feb. 2 and Senior Bowl Feb 4 help get me through to CFL free agency , followed by the NFL Combine Feb 28 to Mar. 6 , the CFL Combine Mar. 22 to 26 , the NFL Draft Apr. 27 to 29, and the CFL Draft about a week later . All that gets me to training camp and pre-season for my Cats and I've managed to kill another winter

Thank goodness you don't have anything distracting you on St. Patrick's Day. :shamrock:

The Fenway Bowl between Louisville and Cincinnati is interesting for no other reason than where it will be played...

I want to see how they shoehorn a football field into Fenway Park. I know the Boston Patriots ( AFL) played there from 1963 to 1969...

I'm still hoping for the Kohler "Toilet Bowl".
