CALGARY — Veteran kicker René Paredes has signed a one-year contract extension to remain with the Calgary Stampeders, the team announced on Friday.
Rene did indicate at the end of the season he wasn’t really ready to retire and take on his Fire Fighting Career full time. He just said it depended upon the organization to extend his contract. Good to see it all worked out and Calgary will keep this HOF kicker for at least next year.
Yep saw this coming. Likely setting the market for kickers.
Should see a few more specialist signings now.
