Ottawa has stated that they will give Trevor Harris some playing time so I can't see that resting Burris will weaken them at all. When you play a home game you do not want to announce that you are resting players, the fans want to see a regular season game with all the starters, they don't want to pay to see a pre-season game.
If it was a road game I think they would rest some players.
If Ottawa can shut down the Bombers on the road, they can shut them down at home.
Edmonton should beat the Argos. The Esks and Bombers will be tied and I believe that the Bombers will have to cross over to play Hamilton.
I don’t think it matters to the Ticats who they play, Esks and Bombers seem to be equal.
Ticats will have the home field advantage and Banks will be back from his drug time out.
Which actually could be a good thing considering that the Bombers have already represented the East in the Grey Cup before as Division Champs on several occasions when they were parachuted into the East from the West as the replacement team when Montreal and Ottawa both ended up folding up shop as franchises on different occasions.
Yup !!! It could easily happen again and what’s ironic about it is that the last two times the Bombers won the Cup it was as an East team in “88” vs the Lions and “90” vs the Eskimos . The B.B’s have actually represented the East 6 times in the Cup with the most recent time being in “11” when they lost to B.C. The Bombers have actually played every other team in the West at least once in a Grey Cup game so it really wouldn’t be as strange as let’s say a Stamps vs Eskimos match-up and would probably be an easier sell as a Grey Cup game to the buying public this year at BMO in Toronto…but let’s not count out Ottawa or Hamilton just yet :cowboy:

Eskimos = Evil Empire. Hervey and Maas tried to steal Thorpe (WHO WAS UNDER CONTRACT) from the Alouettes. They refused to have their players wear the microphones for TSN (all the other teams did).
They have probably done a bunch of other stuff we don’t know about. Rumour has it they were mentioned in Hilary’s emails…
Bombers are totally out of control as far as determining their playoff structure. A BC loss and a bomber W is the only way to get a home gate - and that wouldn’t be pretty - I’d expect the 19,000 or so who were hood-winked into playoff ducats as part of their package to substantially no-show (perhaps up to 35%) and the walk up to be miniscule - (perhaps 500 to 1500)
Ottawa won’t be resting as many as you think - they’d rather the bombers be the FREE SPOT in the eastern bingo card vs. a superior coached and quarter-backed team like Edmonton. Edmonton vs. BC in the western semi eliminates one quality Cup contender.
Hamilton vs Wpg in east semi sets up a soft opponent for Ottawa in the EF.
Of the 3 western teams - Edmonton getting the home bye gives the biggest profit - as Edmonton fans might not fill commonwealth but they’ll send well over 30,000 to battle. BC might not put more than 15 to 18,000 in the balloon.
Hamilton should be a sellout out east - same with Ottawa in the final.
Also heard today the re=priced Grey Cup ticket program is just over half capacity (around 18,000) and should be approaching 20000 by week’s end. Add to that Hamilton or Ottawa fans going to nearby Toronto and the GC is guaranteed to have 25,000 to 30,000. A bomber appearance would be wonderful for bomber fans but would be a gate-killer.
Calgary will no doubt have 29,000 to 33000 out for the western final.
So at the end of this week, TOR with a loss in EDM, could finish last in the standings and give WPG 1st pick in the entry draft plus a crossover spot into the East semifinal with a chance of winning the Grey Cup on TOR's field.
Talk about sinking the ship. From 4-2 to 5-13. I've never seen such a tank job helped out by the two butt plugs in the photo above. If they are kept on things in TO will get worse next year. Both are lost and are grasping at straws not knowing sh!t from clay at this point. Barker has never taken the CFL draft seriously thus he surely doesn't care about losing the number one pick, a sure starter for the Bombers next year. Way to build the brand back up in TO A$$HATS!
Never trust a fat vegetarian, Barker.
