This year's passion seems to be a desire to change the faces in each team's coaching ranks.
An optimist would say that his team is searching for the correct mix to vault his team in the standings.
The pessimist will call it 'Shuffling the deck chairs on the Titanic.'
The truth is probably that all of this will have very little effect on the product. Any big change in the standings will come from the actions of the GM's, as it always has. The GM, and scouting staff, which can find and sign the best players will win.
'Twas always thus. Sure, the coaches must design plays that showcase the players' skills. But, in the end, Having guys like Moreno, Setta, Lumsden, et al, will be the deciding factor.
Coaches come and go. Franchise players are forever.
