MTL @ HAM 2024 PBP Thread

No Fajardo, but an apparently mobile 3rd-string QB. Could be trouble, considering the defensive collapse once Ford was swapped-in for MBT.

We are actually fielding an identical (or extremely close to it) roster as last game. This is encouraging.

Keep hydrated - it’s going to be a hot one at the stadium.

You mean I get 6 and the Als…

Shouldn’t be too hot tonight, a comfortable 26 degrees at 7pm forecasted to 23 @ 10pm

You don’t get anything. It’s my prediction.

Just got back from the stadium, grabbing some new gear. Place is already buzzing. Quite a few Montreal fans milling about.

Should be great night.

Should be a good test for the team. We have every advantage, except we are the tiger-cats:

  • home game
  • back up qb for mtl
  • our offence is fired up…ST and D getting turnovers
  • mtl coming off a win against 1st place west team…so may be a trap game for them
  • no pressure

…if we use formula of last 2 games we nees to be up by 30 pts by halftime…

Kickoff soon.
Can we get a coin-toss and wind reports?

Please! I’m watching on CFL+ in Texas and we know there’s a better chance of Mark Washington holding a 1 score lead in the last 5 minutes than there is of TSN giving us this info.

Max protect to start

Bo had Dunbar open there

good start but a poor throw on that 3rd and 2

Nice open field tackle by Wilson

Poor throw, but I liked the decision to go, and even more, the 2 and out by the D to get the ball back.

Starting to think Smoke may not be our answer as a return guy. Safe, smart, but no impact.

I was just about to say the same

From our view it looked like he should have sat down in the zone, or that he was going to the next window in it.

On the replay you can see that the window was in front of the receiver. You can also see two large Alouettes with heads and hands in Bo’s lane. Wasn’t as easy as it first appeared.

Yeah so either Bo expected him to stop in the window that was closing, and he was moving to the next one. Agreed

big turnover way to go D
