Mr. Bishop

To Whom It May Concern,

I love the NFL, enjoy every minute of it. But, then again, I love football all together. The CFL is an exciting league as well, and I hope Toronto can see the gem of a player they have in Mr. Michael Bishop. Now, I don't hang on jockstraps, but I know a footplayer when I see one, and that, in Mr. Bishop, is exactlyw aht you have..a football player. I'm from Western Pennsylvania, the mecca of football greatness, and I've plyed football for years. I am also a member of our Armed Forces of the United States, and was stationed near Kansas State University when Mr. Bishop was there. Flat put, he makes you feel as though you can't get enough of how explosive a football player he is, and he's very cordial, respectful of the game, the fans, and most of all, he's a compliment to any team he plays for. he gives his best, and then some, not to mention his rocket arm and poise in the pocket makes him a double threat. Given a chance, and honest, his football team, Mr. Bishop would guide a team, as shown during the AFL tenure. It is a pleasure watching football now-a-days, since my old butt can't play now, but it sure feels good to watch someone else carry that glory and make people glee to watch someone play football like it's supposed to be played. Good luck Toronto! Hooah!

he would get a chance, if he actually had a top notch offensive coordinator, bishop hasnt been used properly.

Bishop has alot of potential, he’s big, he can run and can throw the football the length on the field. The problem is he is not accurate with his throws and that’s why he couldn’t make it in the NFL. He also lacks that game sense that lifts the good QB’s above the average run of the mill. But he would have been better then Spergon Wynn when Damon Allen was injured…and I think we will see him take over the number 2 spot again with Wynn being released or “injured” when Crouch comes off the injured list.

the things mike bishop needs:

-a personal QB Coach
-playing time
-lots and lots reps
-reliable WRs
-An Offensive Coordinator who knows how to use him to the best of his abilities.

Bishop is a solid football player for sure, But he,s not a QB, Make him a RB, or Slotback, . really imo

Bishop kind of reminds me of matt jones in the NFL with the jaguars where he came in as a qb but they converted him to receiver and now he is poised to tear up the league.... maybe Massdestruction is on to something in regards to making bishop a WR

It's not golf! He has had years upon years of coaching in College/NFL/CFL/AFL
-playing time
He was handed the Argo job a few years ago. I believe when Kerwin Bell got hurt, but could'nt cut it and seize the opportunity. Bishop has started close to 10 games for the Argonauts.
-lots and lots reps
Had em' and still does in the AFL
-reliable WRs
Toronto, although some terrible teams have always seemed to have great recievers (Arland Bruce is the best in the league this year)
-An Offensive Coordinator who knows how to use him to the best of his abilities.
What abilities? A canon of an arm but no field vision. He will always throw more picks than TD's. He finds success in a league of 50 yards and 2 reads (recievers). It may be nice to have him around for a "hail mary" or QB sneak but that's it. As a long time Argo fan I have givin up on him. I too thought Bishop could be the biggest star when he first suited up for the Argos but you watch and learn why he has become a journeyman. Teams give him a shot based on his impressive raw talent but the QB position just requires too much intelligence for Michael Bishop.
