Most Successful Team of the Last 10 Years

So, who is the most successful team of the last 10 seasons (2000-2009)?
Montreal at #1 is no surprise, but I didn't think B.C. would be such a strong #2.

                      W L T

Montreal 115 65 0
British Columbia 108 71 1
Edmonton 96 83 1
Saskatchewan 91 87 2
Winnipeg 90 88 2
Calgary 86 91 3
Toronto 80 98 2
Hamilton 61 118 1

dont be so surprised.

try doing this same thing for the years that Wally was coaching Calgary.

2006 and 2007 killed Edmonton. :frowning:

MTL 2- 5 record in Grey Cup games does tarnish that a bit ! Scary thing , could have been 1 - 6 if not for SK giving Duval a Mulligan last year !

2003, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 killed Hamilton.

BC and Edmonton each had 3 Grey Cup appearances and 2 Grey Cup Championships during this period, so not surprising they are 2nd and 3rd in these stats. I thought Calgary would have a better record though.

Also Hamilton is the only team to not make it to the Grey Cup over the period.

AFAIC, GC wins is what it is all about… the rest is window dressing.

Edm and BC tied for 1st on the basis of each having 2 GC wins apiece and 3 GC appearances in the past 10 years. I’m sure that sticks in the craw of a lot of people but to quote ‘Ricky Bobby’ … “If you ain’t first, yer last.” 8)
