Montreal vs Winnipeg

Another interesting meeting will be between Walls and Cavillio. There was some jabbing back and forth after AC complained about questionable hits.

would you care to elaborte on that statement or is it just your bias getting the better of you…what indications are there that the bombers are ready to schlit the bed and that Als are any better than what we have seen…

The als no matter how you slice it are still 3-0 includin a game against winnipeg. it will be a defensive battle to the very end. If winnipeg is going to win it would be on the back of Charles Roberts since the als secondary is very dangerous. If the als are going to win I think it will be through the air since winnipeg's front 7 have not been kind to running backs this year

I think our Offense is going to be better prepared for the blitz this week. Normally we meet up with the als in the peg and its HIGH scoring! Im guessing it will be another high scoring classic.

Montreal : 22
Winnipeg : 29

winnipeg showed that they were a new team, made some bad mistakes that cost them the game. after 3 tune up wins i'd say this game will be alot closer tahn the last one, and the last one was a close game

I do wish BB fans would stop going on about how they had Als on ropes in first game, how they should have won it.

Als did not play well until BBs woke them up in 3rd with roughing calls vs Calvillo.

For which, Walls (and I think Canada) were fined.

As for this week, part of me wouldn't mind seeing repeat of that bizarre game from last year. Didn't they put up 100 poitns or so between them?

I said before season, Bummers would finish fourth. I didn't see how Glenn was going to help. I recognized their strengths and hoped their D would be much improved. They are.

Als offence looked disjointed both vs Peg and again last week. Maybe it's early season lack of cohesiveness. Same cast as last year so that's not problem.

If Wpg shows well this week, I'll give them their due.

Unfortunately, I see Als waking up to this challenge and some over-confident BB fans licking their wounds after it's all over with.

Mtl: 38, Wpg 22

FTR: I am useless predicting scores --- not usually outcomes tho. :stuck_out_tongue:

i'm hoping for a repeat of week 5 last year, that was hella entertaining. not going to happen, bombers D is way too good. bombers playing full strenght beats the als anyday 8)

OBrien.....I cannot speak for other Bomber fans, but for me the reason why this loss still hurts is because of how the team came out of the gates against one of the favorite teams this year. AC was very frustrated with Walls/Canada/Brown/Warner, and having a 10 point lead in the forth is having a team up against the ropes. The D was forcing Montreal to 2 and out, but unfortunetly your D was doing the same. It was because of 2 very bad ints that we lost this game
bomber fans have optimisim for this game for a number of reasons:

  1. The rivalry Dave Ritchie brought here is still very much alive
2)We usually play Montreal good at home, even when we have bad teams
3)You can expect the pressure to be put on AC again
  2. The WPG O will be much better than in the first game

I hope if the EDm game did not make a statement to the rest of the league that this game will: Teams had better bring theitr A game to Winnipeg because we are not push overs anymore :cowboy:

WPG 27 Mont 20

That game was a battle of offences. Look now for the complete opposite. I wouldn’t be surprised if the total points scored was below 35.

Penalties (+180 yds) and turnovers (was it 2 or 3) killed the Bombers in the first game, took points off the board for us and put points on the board for the Als.....the Bombers have cleaned up their act since, I expect about the same score as the first game only this time in the Bombers favour...27 - 17 Winnipeg.......

The Bombers are going to get a thrashing. They're not even in the same league as the Als.
The Als are one of the premiere teams in this league and the Bombers, well, c'mon they have Troy Westwood.
I hate to say it Bomber fans, but I think it's going to be the first loss in a very, very long loosing streak.

Last I checked the Bombers were in the same league as Montreal, along with 6 other teams
this post is obviously an attempt to rile up Bomber fans because whether you like it or not, the Bombers might just be favorites to win this game.

Come on you guys! Give Montreal the respect it deserves. This is after all the Team that beat Hamilton twice the same Hamilton team the will probably be 0-8. And Boy did they beat them soundly!!! Hail to the Great Als. What nerve of you to say they did not beat them to a pulp? Oh yeah, I forgot.

Would this game be in Montreal, I’d be pretty confident, but on a road game… Unless Calvillo picks himself up, we might fall short in that one.

…do you even watch the CFL…

......This is going to be a tight one...penalties ,,,,,fumbles ....interceptions...the team that commits the least....should prevail...

Agree papazoola, we do have some key players that won't be in the line up. If the fighting spirit continues...Bombers win..And I will be sitting fourteen rows up from the field to enjoy it....Go Bombers..

Like the trashing we gave you guys? The game will be close, but I gotta go with my Blue. They’re on FIYAH!!! :rockin:

And EE, stay off the crack. Be lucky it poured in Edmonton!!!
