Montréal @ Hamilton

If you look at the two losses against Hamilton in both cases we had leads and lost those because of huge adjustments and new formations by Hamilton. We were outcoached...That's my view. In the game in Montreal we tore them a new behind. So lets hope we are going to even up the score tomorrow.

IN all fairness, two missed FG’s by Whyte… that’s 6 pts off the board for the Als.

They put up 16 unanswered points in the fourth quarter. Thjey’ve outplayed us in the second half in all 3 games. Even the beating we gave them in Montreal. We put nothing on them in the second half. Only thing that explains that is We were outcoached and they made much better adjustments.

Well Niagara, Noel Thorpe agrees with you . In today`s Journal he says the Wildcat surprised them.

«Les Tiger-Cats sont très bien dirigés et ils nous avaient surpris avec une formation “wildcat”», a admis le coordonnateur défensif Noel Thorpe.

«Ils aiment envoyer deux quarts ou encore deux porteurs de ballon sur le terrain. On s’est préparé en fonction de leurs diverses formations, mais ils peuvent toujours sortir quelque chose de nouveau dimanche.»

HFx, yes outcoached to a degree. But when your FG kicker misses 2 FG from 40 yards, you take way to many drive ending penalties, dropped passes, all would have contributing factors to the losses, not just coaching!

For sure. Every team is a team loss but Austin is a very smart coach. Hamilton won many games this year because of coaching and in spite of Burris the interception/fumble machine. His team is very disciplined to the point where I think they are a bit soft but that’s how he wants them to play.

This game will come down to the players and both teams at this point have very good players. Hamilton started rebuilding from the start of the season after a terrible 2012. Montreal starting in week 6 began turning a terrible situation into a good situation. Both treated the season correctly like a marathon and systematically but together two teams that can beat anyone in the CFL at this point.
Troy Smith is now in total control of the offense now and Steinaur has rounded the worst defense in 2012 to one of the best and deepest units in the CFL.
The desktop is hooked to the flatscreen for a lil ESPN3 Broadcast. I have been waiting all week to see how the rosters and injuries would shake out and now its GAME TIME!

OMG - My Ears, my ears

Hope the game is better than the anthem. That was terrible.

Pipping misses another FG, but the Ti-Cats don't run it back for a touchdown. A moral victory.

It actually made it into the end-zone on the fly! LOL

We’ve had the wind for the first quarter and so far have all of one point to show for it. Not good.

What is this play calling from Berry? Not a single option, not a single run from Smith. Use your QB's strength, man!

Was that a east semi, or a preseason quarter? Geez

First quarter:

Supid call from Popp to try a 40 yard field goal in 50km wind gusts
Whyte missed field goal
Selfish big mouth Carter
Stupid rookie mistake from Bowling

Same old, same old.

Penalties and Pippin are killing Montreal. Dammit Popp, this is on you.

Popp looking like a moron

Sad sad sad....can anyone else kick field goals? Can dales kick? Im sick to my stomach

Eastern All Star LMAO

It’s not like this is a surprise. Your kicker is pathetic game after game, yet you keep him in. Popp could have tried to go for it on 3rd down, but no, he decides to trust his worst player instead. Argh!!!

Makes me sick, they had not stopped the run once and he's gt them on their 13 yard line. Worst that happens is they take the ball inside their 15 yard line. Nasty stuff.
