I didn’t notice until this board brought it up but yea, he’s really playing dirty this year.
This might be the first time the relatively new play-by-play man Marsh Ferguson has been saddled with Old Glenny (Suitor).
Ferguson able to dodge a bullet - until today!

I can’t believe that wasn’t roughing the kicker either.
I can however believe that consensus dirtiest player in the league Micah Awe received a 25 yard Grade 2 spearing penalty for an intentional hit to the head.
Why is this guy not suspended? The new Marino. Looks like a 5th fine this season at the very least upcoming.

Grade 2 is because there was no mitigation for the hit.
He’s always been dirty. It’s why Montreal had no interest in keeping him as a free agent. He hurt them too many times last year with big penalties.
It’s good though they nailed him. I personally have little doubt he will do something stupid and get tossed from the game later…

Don’t know. Somehow he missed the fact that without Huf taking care of things Calgary has started falling apart…And guys like Awe are poison in the dressing room. Good players that take stupid arrogant and selfish penalties…

The worst and most annoying thing about Awe is that Suitor can’t shut up about how he is a terrific player and how much he likes the guy . He is literally falling all over himself praising Awe and kissing his ass . Ferguson isn’t much better as neither of them can shut up about him .It’s sickening to listen to .

Are the CFL announcers legally not allowed to mention how Darnell Sankey was one of the best defensive players in the XFL and won a championship with the Arlington Renegades?

Not as far as I am aware although I’m sure they aren’t encouraged to talk up rival leagues. On numerous occasions I have heard them mention a certain player played for certain teams in the past so I can’t see there being a legal problem.
