Here’s another test to “judge” the team. Failed the test against Winnipeg. Will it be the same against BC? I don’t care how many points they allow, I want them to win.
Si des correctifs et de nouveaux joueurs ne s’ajoutent pas dans le prochain mois, cette équipe sera “groupé” avec les "mauvaises équipes à la fin de la saison et ne sera pas des séries après-saison.
Will be interesting game given the Lions loss to the Argos last night.
Which VA will show up against the Als. Last night’s version or the version from the previous games.
When the Riders had trouble protecting Cody Fajardo, their fans use to criticize Fajardo by saying he did not help the situation as he always seem to needlessly spin or turn to where there was a pass rusher. Since there seems to be protection issues in Montreal as well, I am waiting to see if Als fans will come to the same or different conclusion.
Ce sera intéressant à suivre, effectivement. Pour l’instant, la ligne offensive n’aide pas Fajardo, particulièrement en étant aussi inefficace sur le jeu au sol.
Been saying this for weeks but I’ll say it again: Fajardo’s problem is holding the ball too long and dropping back too far in the pocket, which exposes him to pressure off the edge.
He’s done well in a lot of other ways but he does need to fix these elements of his game.
Interesting. Notree and Stubblefield going to the PR would seem to indicate that Williams and one of Evans and Ruffin are ready to return, which would be good news.
Spieker? Didn’t see that one coming. Abram is on the six-game. Might we see Quartney Davis taking Spieker’s spot? Or … the best of possibilities … maybe Philpot is healthy and ready to come off the 6-game early? I’m dreaming, I know.
Actually, looking at transactions, something is going on with Davis but I can’t figure out what. Is he being activated this week or being released? And Gibbon seems to be heading to the PR.
A receiver has to replace Cole Spieker on the Active Roster. Not impossible for it to be Tyson Philpot returning since his injury was not expected to take the full 6 weeks to heal.
The Jesse Gibbon entry means he restructured his contract. Usually, that translates to the player taking a paycut.
Love that your GDT is already going strong.
I feel that if Faj had problems withWPG pass rush, he’s gonna be for a rude awakening. Add VAJ wanting to make a point, and I’d be surprised if it’s even close.
Heninger and Ellis were released to make room for Notree and Spieker on practice roster; furthermore, all is done to reduce costs of players on 1 game injury list. Unless there are unknown injured players, there could be only 2 players on 1 game injury list on week 5; there were 6 on week 1.
I doubt that Philpot will return to the active roster; if so, an addition of roughly $13,800.00 on roster. To me, WR Quartney Davis will replace WR Cole Spieker on active roster.
Actually, there could be more injured players. On Monday, Herb Zurkowsky said he had spoken to Danny Maciocia who told him that there were unreported injuries sustained during the Saturday game. When Zurkowsky asked who they were, Maciocia declined to further elaborate.
