Ok, proposition, if a team sells out the GC and they arenāt in the game, they get to spend an extra āXā percentage above and beyond the salary cap for the following season or two. Should be rewarded.
Good idea, bad idea, stupid idea, or āstop posting pleaseā idea? ![]()
Nahā¦.theyāll have extra money to pay the fine to go over ![]()
Iād rather have it so the last place team gets a higher salary cap and have the next team get slightly lower.
If the salary cap is supposed to go up 100k per year then have the Grey Cup team go up by 35k, Grey Cup Finalist 45k, Conference Final teams 50k, Semi Final teams 60k, seventh seed 100k, 8th seed 200k and last place team 300k.
However CFLPA wouldnāt agree to either of our wishes.
I think this idea would create more problems than it would solve, if any.
Now Iām trying to figure out the nicest way to recommend that it be shit-binned.

āShit-binnedā? Is that an American expression, thatās a new one to me I must admit. Is that along the lines of somewhere Steve Earle Copperfield Roads territory? Gotta get me some of that stuff I will say some day, when the wife aināt lookinā. Just donāt want to go blind, thatās all.
British ā American would be āshit-canned.ā But hey, six eggs or a half dozen ā¦
About the āMeet the Commissionerā being cancelled, thread is locked, found this. ??: Also, ok, rethinking, I stand by what I said to have a fan advisory board of some sort that does have some official report or minutes, some say to the league. But sure, in addition to this, ok, have an informal āMeet the Commissionerā type of event as well if that pleases some, I get that.
Very good. @Tedtanium1976 or other party, please proceed with the countdown before detonation in that thread.

Not a credible source. The fact that the page could not be found doesnāt mean that the event is cancelled. There is no statement from the league and Dyakowski is just stirring the pot
As for the fans having meetings they have informal meetings at the Grey Cup and you wouldnāt want a written record of the hijinx that they get up to during that time.

Yes, as someone who served as treasurer of the CFLPA and who I thought would have been above such behaviour, I was surprised to see this without question. Just reading this, sounds out of character for him, odd:
Q & A with Peter Dyakowski - Director of Franchising for Scholars | Scholars Education
True, but see the previous post. That looked like a fun party, but he chose poorly to drink some bad hooch, and it was all downhill from there.
Heās a member of Mensa Canada and with such mental gifts also brings with it at times such mental health and other types of personality challenges so Iām told. Believe me, Iāll never know from the mensa side of things as I donāt have a chance in heck from getting into Mensa Canada.
