Miss field goals that's one thing...

I’m interested in your answer.
Do you think you can move to the side as you’re about to kick a field goal?

WHY NOT TRY TO PASS LIKE HE DID LATER IN THE GAME WITH THE SAME RESULT???

OK , I understand and I'm sorry. I honestly thought you knew what you're talking about however it has become blatantly obvious that football is new to you.
1st of all , punting and field goals are 2 different things. You cannot throw the football on a field goal situation unless this has been planned out ahead of time . Punting leaves you more of an opportunity to throw it because you are not looking down at the ground trying to kick it.

Hope this helps.

PAT… .does this ring a bell NOF???
POINT AFTER A TOUCHDOWN!!!

This is not a field goal, this is not a punt, it is a POINT AFTER A TOUCHDOWN!!!

Case dismissed due to stupidity!!

EXCELLENT NOF...

You REALLY had us going there for a while... and I for one am EMBARRASSED...

So, now that you had your fun and made us all look a little silly for trying to "teach" you the difference between a place-kick and a punt, you can go onto the next trollism...

Oh, and by the way, I WAS a place-kicker...slightly different in that I was a straight-on kicker (I know you know what that means) and I did try your suggestion of moving to the side to avoid getting a kick blocked one time...I missed the ball 'cause the holder didn't move it...he was STUPID, wasn't he?

Is #1fan serious LMAO if someone is in the air with the right line on the flight of the ball it dont matter if the kicker kicks it on the left side right side from behind BECAUSE THE BALL IS STILL IN THE SAME DAMN SPOT U IDIOT

Perhaps smashing plates at the kicker's feet or bullet-firing at same could be incorporated into the "convert dodging" and style points could be awarded for the kicker's Zorba dance in doing the dodge, maybe with a bottle of ouzo or Gibson's Finest on the line?

A kicker may hesistate before kicking because the holder bobbles the snap, does not tee it up properly, etc. This is not "dodging." How the hell could Paul Osbaldiston "dodge" any accelerating mammal EVER while looking down at the ball???

THE HESITATION IS ALMOST INVARIABLY A RECIPE FOR A KICK BEING BLOCKED OR WORSE.

Imbecilic critiques of a placekicking scenario probably is the new low for the witch-burning set of ticats.ca, but I digress.
