Milton's Article on Leadership.

Maybe that is something Rob Katz should have addressed before assembling this fantasy football team. Sure a fantasy team works with different players from different teams, but just maybe they wouldn't work if you put them all on the same team, aka 2006 ticats. Allowing Carl Coulter to retire, releasing Dave Hack, trading Tim Bakker, Dan Comiskey, and Danny Mac has left a huge hole in the offensive identity of this football team.

Once again Milton's words of wisdom ring true. The problems on this team are far wider than just leadership, but it's a biggie.

In Katz' defense, you don't always know what kind of leaders you will have until they're on the team, because it's such an intangible quality and can vary depending on the group. Maas seems like a natural, but he's also dealing with his own problems as passer. I'd have expected Hudson to step up as one too. Most of the other guys we have seem to be the 'lead by example' type... but their examples haven't been very good lately.

It's also tough when the coaching direction hasn't been clear. Lancaster is more forceful and calls a spade a spade, but how much leadership can an "interim" coach instill in his team?
