Many people on this forum, including my good friend MJ, would not acknowledge the fact that Bishop was the overwhelming choice of the vast majority of Argo players and coaches going into the 2008 season. Could not let this go buy without mentioning it.
Even this story tries to rewrite history a tad by calling it a split,unless you call 95/5 a split.

IIRC the Bishop debate, which has lasted longer than some major wars thanks to your urge to revive it, was never about his popularity with teammates; that reportedly was why he got the call instead of Casey Printers in Winnipeg and Calgary. The debate was about his actual performance as a CFL quarterback.
