"It’s good finally playing with the same guys consistently for the last couple of games,? says the lineman. “At the beginning of the season, it was something different every week."
“It’s starting to show on the field that we’re getting comfortable with the guys that we’re rushing with.?
It’s good to see that Jermaine McElveen and the rest of the D-line are showing this much confidence in each other. If they continue to play the way they did against Montreal and the offence keeps clicking, who knows what will happen in the last five games. I have a high level of confidence going into the Edmonton game in the hope that we cannot continue the up and down pattern we have shown. I still believe we will be in the post season and when that starts up, who knows??
McElveen’s comments are revealing. The defensive players have been offering advice to Casey Creehan about how to run the defence…and it looks as if it is paying off.Along with a couple of new player additions.
The offence has also been in flux since the beginning of the season. Stala and Avon were noticeably absent for a while. But now the offence includes these fella’s and seems to be jelling a little better.
So much for experimentation. Maybe that’s why we have had in inconsistent season so far.
Why were the coaching staff not able to field their best players each week and give them some good game planning? Maybe we would have had more wins by this time.
I hope things are now settling down finally.
Just musing…
There is little difference in people, but that little difference makes a big difference. The little difference is attitude. The big difference is whether it is positive or negative.
