Football is cruel sometimes, wishing him a full & speedy recovery.

I am lost for words, Just heart broken for Masoli, I watched the game and felt the air leave my lungs when he went down. Get healthy and I wish you and your family nothing but the best in what ever you decide in the future with your career. Take care man.

Brutal. What a terrible thing to happen. His career is likely over.

I recall a similar situation a few years ago with Darian Durant. Injured his elbow in the Labour day classic, missed the rest of the season, only to rupture is Achilles in the first game of the next season.

The shocking thing was that it wasn’t a re-injury of his knee it was an achilles

I’ve always liked Masoli - I am so sorry to hear about him being out for the rest of the season. It must be tough on any player to be out of action more than what they have been on it. Get better soon Jeremiah.

Life is not always fair. He deserved better. Hoping he makes a recovery so besides his career he can have a painless healthy life.

You’re probably right. Nice guy & maybe time to hang them up. Missed 32 games the past 3 years. Sad for Ottawa fans. They haven’t had too many breaks the past few seasons & have supported the team well. Have to see who they can bring in. Dane Evans would be an obvious target but can’t see that happening.

I agree with what many have said, namely that Dane likely isn’t going anywhere, especially with the recent inconsistency shown by Adams.

Reportedly Ottawa has reached out to MacBeth although whether he is even interested is also very uncertain.

I wish Masoli the best also and feel for him.

Brutal indeed. Wouldn’t blame him if he packed it in, but he doesn’t come across as a guy who would.
I won’t be at all surprised to see him back next year.

The question is: how many times is he going to put his body through the wringer of pro football? He needs quality of life after his career is over. Nothing is worth putting your long-term health at risk.

Losing 2 quarterbacks for the season is really tough, especially if Nick Arbuckle is the only one left. It will be a tough year for Redblack fans. Best wishes for a full recovery and we hope to see Jeremiah next year.

I wouldn’t be surprised either but if not, I hope there is a coaching spot for him somewhere. The CFL is better with him.

Other than the fact it was the opposite leg? Tough one for even the best of all the 1 800 *** **** lawyers to win that one.

it’s likely subsequent result of the rehab from the other knee injury.

Sucks big time for him.
And for Ottawa/the CFL.
Hope he comes back strong next season.

It makes you wonder if he was trying not to put a lot of weight or pressure on his injured knee but then that put a strain on the achilles.
I don’t know which is worse to recover from, the achilles or the knee
