The 35-year-old, who will serve as an offensive assistant, threw for over 17,000 yards with 82 touchdowns over 11 seasons with Calgary, Edmonton and the Roughriders.
"After bringing Marcus in as a guest coach this year and watching him work with our young quarterbacks, we knew we had to find a spot for him on our staff," Saskatchewan head coach Ken Miller said.
