INDIANAPOLIS, In. – Future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning announced today his intention to pick up stakes and move north. Citing a frustration at playing third-fiddle to both New England quarterback Tom Brady and younger brother Eli Manning of the New York Giants, the elder Manning expressed his intention to play for the soon-to-be reborn Ottawa Rough Riders.

Standing before a bewildered scrum of reporters, the Indianapolis superstar explained his decision: “You know,? he said, “a man can only play in so many NFL pro bowls before he stops to ask himself, ‘What does it all mean?’ Do I really want to end my career as the proverbial big-fish-in-a-small pond? Insiders report that Manning has already worked out for the famed Rough Riders.

I tried something like this for uniforms once, and generally, the brighter shades of colours don't work out well.

Assuming you used something like Paint, remember you can paste an existing photo of a real Ottawa helmet overtop of the other one.

We came as close to this as we're ever going to; I believe Lonie and Forrest signed Ryan Leaf to our negotiation list during the team's last year. I'm not certain if they ever followed through but it was talked about.
