CALGARY — Jake Maier and the Calgary Stampeders put forth one of their best efforts of the season to get a 35-31 comeback win against the Edmonton Elks in the final game of the OK Tire Labour Day Weekend.

Here is hoping that the Stamps can string together multiple victories. This game was exciting but falling behind by 15 points late in the game will not always work towards a victory.

Agreed, my grandson is not always going to be wearing his special jersey (which is, apparently, the reason the stamps won)…
