Lots Of Greenrider Fans In Hamilton Last Night.

I saw a lot of fans wearing Green Saskatchewan shirts at Ivor Wynne Stadium last night.

I wonder how many of them are from Saskatchewan and made the trip to support their team.

Or, are they Greenrider fans that live in Ontario?

Anyway, I think it is a sign of a healthy league that fans are willing to make the trip to support their team. There is reason to be optimistic about the CFL's future.

Too bad the game wasn't more entertaining though.

Is there anyone here on this forum that made the trip from Saskatchewan to Hamilton for last night's game?

I doubt that many made the trip.

Look at it this way: Saskatchewan's population has been about a million people for close to 60 years now. Makes for a lot of Sask faithful all over Canada.

I was listening to the ticats show on the radio this morning, and they were interviewing someone, didn’t catch his name, who said that he has coached and has been involved with many teams including Hamilton and Saskatchewan.

He said that Saskatchewan is unique because their fans show up in every stadium.

They are like the Packers of the CFL. There is no other game in town and football rules in Saskatchewan.

ya, this is so awesome..

you should see it in Edmonton, nuts!

yah their was lots of fans at the hamilton game because Andy Fantuz lives in the area so he had i think they announced 40-50 people in once section out to support him, but yes the fan support across the nation for the riders is beautiful i love all the rider billboards in Albterta makes me smile every time. Each year we may lose half the population of our province but at least our fans stay loyal

Only guy I can think of is Lancaster, maybe he was sipping some of that Saskabush home brew… hoping he was back in the Gap…

It didn't sound like Lancaster, unless his voice has changed...
