lol... funny birds

I was browsing the Als' website. In the article in which they announce Karikari's return, they say:

"La signature de contrat de Karikari signifie que tous les joueurs des Alouettes qui sont devenus autonomes à la fin de la dernière saison et qui ont reçu une offre ont accepté de revenir avec l’organisation."

For those of you not speaking French, this means "Karkari's new contract means every free agent Alouette who received an offer this off-season stayed with the team."

lol... What it really necessary to slap around the big Ted White one last time?...

Funny birds...

More oil on the fire:

Brady, 26, will come to training camp with the intent of backing up and learning from Calvillo, with the hope of eventually replacing the 33-year-old. Brady, who has four years' CFL experience with Toronto and Hamilton, also gives the Als a level of comfort should Calvillo get injured - provided Brady gets some snaps and proves more competent than Ted White, Montreal's last backup.
Poor Ted.... ;)

Anyone shocked that no one has picked Mr. White up? I'm not.....

What amazed me about Ted White was how he had absolutely no great ability. At first, when I saw him I thought "Wow.. A quarterback this big must be un-sackable. That must buy him a lot of time to throw."

But I had to realize after a few downs that he did not even put up a fight to stay up. He was wimpy.

He sure is a big guy. But then, so was Herman Munster.

The last regular season game vs HAmilton prooved us that he was worth nothing...

Even more at the East Finals....we were on the 1 yrd line & it took him 3-4 tries (good thing the Argos got a couple of penalties), then Calvillo came in,fake to his right , BANG ! TD !

I remember one of the Argos fans in front of me, when they sent BIG #7, he looked at me, he asked me: "is that an OL ?" My reply: Nope, our 2nd QB..and we both started laughing...

I wont miss Ted at all...

During that game, I was in the ScotiaBank's salon, surrounded by Argos fans, and they were laughing while Ted repeatedly failed to haul it in. They were bragging and poking fun at me, so I replied "Come on. It's Ted White we're talking about here. Even I would not cheer if he made it. I hope your d-line sits him on his @ss one more time." They all thought I was funny, and we traded high fives as the Argos stopped him for the fourth time. lol...

Then, AC came back and I said: "Now you will face your fate." And they stopped laughing when the touchdown was made...

Nice souvenirs...
