At this point I would have to believe the Eskie defense figured they had won as well and did not take the threat of loosing seriously! Dont count out Higgins' decision to gamble on 3rd down deep in their own zone in the 2004 Western semi-final. The play was botched(incompetion if I remember correct), and Sask went on to score and seal Edmonton's fate in that game. It was a bonehead move, and its why he is the Stamps' head coach now.

Even though Muchacho and his crew called a blitz, stegall still got through double coverage. He's not fast, not strong, but I swear he can read minds. Stegall is a god.

Right on. What on earth were the Esks coaches thinking? Last play of the game, just send a three-man rush and drop everyone else in deep coverage. When the QB rushes or throws, everyone comes upfield and tackles the ball-carrier. Game over.
