Lions sign WR/KR De'Anthony Thomas

VANCOUVER — The BC Lions have added American WR/KR De’Anthony Thomas to the roster.

Thomas, 29, brings six years of NFL experience to the den. Selected in round four (124th overall) by Kansas City in the 2014 Draft, Thomas played a role on both offence and special teams with the Chiefs, suiting up in 61 games from 2014-2019.

The Black Mamba ! He was a player that was awesome to watch in the NCAA

At 5' 8" he's got that Gizmo Williams impossible-lateral-moves potential.

He could be a Brandon Banks/Chris Rainey type of player I think

The first time he fields the ball on a punt in preseason he'll catch some poor special teamer napping. :grin:

Not familiar with this guy but he actually played a bit in the NFL. Looks like he could be decent.

And he will be awesome in the CFL. He'll take advantage of the big field for sure.
