With the slew of players coming to camp from the slimmed down XFL & points beyond, we are seeing a lot of veterans released. There are still some good veterans looking for spots among the 50+ FA’s still without homes. And there has been a lot of somewhat surprising retirements. I expect a majority of teams will have 1/2 a dozen or more new starters this year.
Menard would be a great fit for Montreal. With his National status he could be a game changer. His past success has him asking for too much money but for the right price he’d be a great acquisition for any team in the CFL
