Lions play complete game at home to take down Als

VANCOUVER — It’s safe to say that if the BC Lions were on a mission to rebound from last week’s loss, they were more than successful.

BC got lucky with that pass interference call. They played well but if that TD had been left on the board, who knows how momentum may have played out. The most interference on that play was the referee pulling his flag out of his pocket. Let football players play the game

True, momentum has a way of changing things but overall the Lions were by far the better team tonight.

Lions did what they had to do, but I think Als beat themselves with penalties. The Als lost a lot of return yards because of penalties.

Glad to see 86, Cottoy, finally get some love. He’s getting lost among all the other really good Lions receivers. I would hate to see him leave because he’s not getting the ball enough.

Nice to see BC’s Special Teams make a big play, for a change. However, I still worry about their kick coverage (see first paragraph above).
