VANCOUVER — The BC Lions made another addition to the quarterback room on Wednesday with the signing of American free agent Isaac Harker.
Not exactly the veteran back-up help I was hoping for but at least he's been around for a bit. Head to head against O'Connor in training camp for a spot I guess.
Harker's improvement was to "slow". Good guy but needed to step it up when he had opportunity. His O-Line did not do him any favours and I am not convinced that BC offers an upgrade at that position for Isaac. BC is banking on some big hopes on unproven QB's this year...it could be a very slow start to the year for the Lions. I am not sold on the QB position they are going with. If I am a opposing D-coordinator I am blitzing a LOT!!
